About the program
The Multifamily Home Tune-Up Program works with property managers and tenants to install these low flow showerheads and faucet aerators at no cost.
Measurable savings
With new water-saving technologies, properties can cut water usage and heating costs by 25 to 60 percent. For 100 units, over a 5-year period, that could mean several thousand dollars in energy cost savings alone*.
How to qualify
To qualify for this program, the property must have at least four individual units. The water for these units must be heated with gas, and the gas provided by the Southern California Gas Company.
What you have to do
- Complete and submit an enrollment form
- Once you're enrolled, we'll schedule the direct installation of showerheads and faucet aerators in tenant units.
- You will receive notification and educational materials to distribute to your tenants.
- Staff will also conduct a no-cost on-site energy evaluation of the entire property, identifying gas and water savings opportunities.
